Friday will mark a collaboration with Foce & Yet magazine as both present The Smell Of Dust, a event of music & photography directly from Brazil. The Smell Of Dust is a free event created by Sue-Elie Andrade-Dé to promote emerging international photographers through a live projection with music & specially selected images . This Sunday marks Brixton’s popular free street summer festival , Brixton splash which returns to Brixton as sound systems take over numerous streets like Atlantic road & Coldharbour lane with a variety of food, music and celebrations. This year is set to be it’s biggest yet with the main stage supporting local talent such as soul, ska, roots & reggae. Somerset House presents London’s most stylish exhibition ‘ Return Of the Rudeboy ‘ which showcases the urban swagger and locations linked to the rudeboy trend lifestyle from series of portraits , set pieces and installations . The gallery space will also host a pop up grooming station where visitors can book there appointments for a haircut by a top Nubian barber. – This Saturday marks a very important day as independent record stores around the world as they come together to celebrate record store day . Now in it’s eighth year RSD continues to grow, and record stores those havens for vinyl junkies, CD lovers and cassette collectors, roll out hundreds of special releases set for the day . Also in London Berwick Street will be hosting a free mini festival with 7 artists performing on the day . Not to forget the Variety of record shops around the area hosting mini free parties & live music too . Also there are a variety of food traders including Napoli styled pizza by Pizza Pilgrims & Jerusalem Falafel serving the best Falafels in town.
I’m tired of typing & I would like to escape staring at my screen so im keeping this short , but street artist phlegm has a exhibition in East London. If you do take a interest in street art or fancy a exhibition on thursday evening find it on here .

( I was meant to post 1month ago) The barbican have commisioned artist Leandro Erlich to create ” Dalston House ” an installation in the East of London , in which Elrich uses the 19th century facade of a Victorian terrace to resemble a movie set. Its on as we speak and it’s also part of the London 2013 Festival of Architecture so head down there an take a look :).
